Who we are

Saymeter is operated by Digital Infinity Group LLC. You can reach us at support@saymeter.com.

What we collect

Account information you give us, such as your email address.

Content you create in the product.

How you use the service while signed in, such as the days you are active and how many minutes the app is open and in use, so we can run and improve it.

The approximate city and country your connection comes from, recorded once when your account is first used. Your IP address itself is not stored for this, and the location is deleted with your account.

Basic technical information needed to serve the site.

Who processes your data

We use third-party providers for hosting (Vercel), the database (Neon), payments (Stripe, which sells to you as merchant of record through Link), email (Resend), analytics (PostHog) and error reports (Sentry). Each processes data only to provide that service.

To measure what AI says about a business, we send the questions a customer would ask, with the business's public name, category and town, to OpenAI, Perplexity, Google (Gemini, Places and AI search results through DataForSEO) and Anthropic. We do not send your account details or other personal data to them.

Checks on an agency's website, webhooks and Slack

An agency can put a Saymeter check on its own website. If you run one and give your email address, the agency is the controller of your email and your results, and Saymeter processes them for the agency. The agency receives them, may contact you about them, and is who to ask to see or delete them. They are kept while the agency's account is open and erased with its organization.

An organization can send its own readings, alerts and fix updates to web addresses it chooses, including Slack. Those messages carry business names, figures and quotes from AI answers, never anyone's email address. What happens to them there is up to the organization that set them up.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@saymeter.com.

You can also do it yourself in the app. Owners and admins can download everything an organization holds as a spreadsheet from its Settings page: locations, competitors, questions, every AI answer with its sources and the names it mentioned, scores, fixes, report details, members, purchases and consents, and the activity log.

You can delete your own account from Your account, which signs you out and removes you at once. An owner can delete an organization from its Settings page; if you delete your account while you are the only owner of an organization, that organization is deleted too. A deleted organization disappears from the app at once, its subscription is cancelled so it does not renew, and its data is erased 30 days later.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open.

Raw responses from the AI services are deleted 30 days after we receive them. The text of AI answers, the sources they cite and the quotes we took from them are deleted after 12 months; which businesses were named, and the scores, are kept for your history.

A free scan that is not saved into an account is deleted after 30 days.

When you delete your account, your sign-in details, sessions and preferences are deleted at once. When an organization is deleted, everything it holds is erased 30 days later: locations, competitors, questions, answers, scores, fixes, reports, purchases, members and invitations.

We keep, after that: the organization's billing record (its Stripe customer reference, plan and status; the payments themselves are held by Stripe as seller), the consent given at checkout, and the activity log of account actions. The activity log cannot be edited or deleted, by design. It can include organization and business names; it never stores an email address in readable form (an invitation is logged as a one-way code).
