How it works

  1. 01

    Your details

The same name, address and phone as your Google Business Profile. Consistency matters more than detail.

  2. 02

    The right type

We pick the most specific schema.org type your trade names (Plumber, Dentist, Restaurant…) and format your hours the way schema.org expects.

  3. 03

    Paste and check

Put the block in your site's <head>. Our paying customers get it pre-filled and a check that it went live.

Questions

What is LocalBusiness schema?
It is structured data in the JSON-LD format, from the schema.org vocabulary, that states your business name, type, address, phone, website and hours in a form machines read without guessing. Google documents using it for local results.
Where do I paste the code?
Inside the <head> of your home page, or every page. On WordPress a header-and-footer plugin does it; on Wix use Settings → Custom Code; on Squarespace use Code Injection; on Shopify edit theme.liquid just before </head>. Keep only one copy if an SEO plugin already adds business schema.
Which business type does it choose?
The most specific schema.org LocalBusiness subtype your category clearly names (for example Plumber, Dentist or Restaurant), otherwise LocalBusiness. You can edit the type in the code before pasting it.
Does schema make AI recommend my business?
Nobody can promise that. It removes guesswork about who you are and where, which Google says it uses; the AI engines don't say how much they weigh it. Treat it as likely helpful, and measure whether answers change.

Next: does AI actually name you?

Being readable is the start. The free scan asks the AI engines the questions your customers ask, as a stranger in your town would, and shows how often Saymeter finds you named against three local competitors. No account.
